As founder and Chief Wellbeing Officer of SharpeWell, Emily Sharpe strives to bring employee wellness to workplaces of all sizes. With experience in program development for individuals to school systems to Fortune 100 companies, Emily has been the boots on the ground for total wellbeing for over a decade.

 

Emily holds a Bachelor Degree from the University of Rio Grande, a Masters in Health Promotion from the University of Cincinnati and a Masters in Teaching from the College of Mount St. Joseph.  She is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and certified in Total Worker Health.

Emily, herself, has earned recognition with the Health Links Director's Award.

Emily's interest in wellness began when her grandfather, a lifelong smoker, was diagnosed with lung cancer. Initially, Emily planned to work in tobacco cessation following graduate school, but discovered the world of workplace wellness during an internship with Luxottica. Now, Emily continues as the Living Well Director for a Fortune 100 company in addition to working with clients on their wellness program development, implementation and assessment.

Outside of work, Emily enjoys traveling with her family, volunteering and serving as the elected Mayor of Elon, NC.
